About GAGA

The GAGA recognises the transformative impact of global conservation and sustainability efforts, with a particular focus on the role of geoparks in enhancing cultural heritage, biodiversity, and sustainable tourism.

Though GAGA is our inaugural event, our plans draw attention to the most innovative, impactful, and sustainable projects in geopark management, environmental education, and green initiatives.

The GAGA is an annual event organized to recognize exceptional geopark sites that demonstrate significant contributions to sustainable tourism, geopark conservation, and local community development.

The awards are benchmarks of excellence to inspire all geoparks within ASEAN and including China in the context of ASEAN+1 to protect our unique geological landscapes and promote international collaboration in geopark management
